Model Overview

The Taikan VMC650 is a compact, high-acceleration 3-axis CNC vertical machining center designed for precision small-part manufacturing where floor space efficiency and surface finish quality are paramount. Featuring an X/Y/Z travel envelope of 650 × 400 × 500 mm and an 800 × 400 mm worktable supporting up to 400 kg, the VMC650 combines a 4,200 kg Fine-Grain HT300 cast-iron frame with a 12,000 rpm BT40 direct-drive spindle (7.5/11 kW). Preloaded 35 mm roller linear guideways and direct-coupled servo ballscrews achieve 36/36/32 m/min rapid traverse rates with minimal following error during high-speed 3D surfacing. Equipped with a 24-station dual-arm ATC, oil-cooled spindle jacket, and Dual-Beam laser calibration, the VMC650 holds ±0.003 mm positioning accuracy and ±0.002 mm repeatability across aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel components.
