Model Overview

The Taikan CK6150 is a medium-duty horizontal flat-bed CNC lathe built for turning long shafts, paper/steel mill rollers, hydraulic cylinder barrels, and oilfield couplings. It provides a Ø500 mm swing over bed, Ø290 mm swing over the cross slide, and configurable center distances of 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, or 3,000 mm. Its 390 mm wide Fine-Grain HT300 bedways are induction-hardened to HRC 52–55 and precision ground to support heavy workpieces between centers without deflection. An A2-8 headstock with an Ø82 mm through-spindle bore and 11 kW 3-step geared drive (30–1,800 rpm) delivers high low-speed torque for heavy roughing and coarse API/Acme threading, maintaining ±0.008 mm positioning accuracy and ±0.004 mm repeatability.

Heavy Ø75 mm MT5 Tailstock with Rack-Assist Lock

Rigid 75 mm quill with MT5 live center supports multi-hundred-kilogram forged shafts with minimal radial runout.

High-Clearance Ø290 mm Swing Over Cross Slide

Allows full-length carriage travel past Ø290 mm flanges and piston crowns without tool-post interference.
