The Taikan CK6160 is a heavy-duty large-swing horizontal flat-bed CNC lathe built for energy, marine, mining, and heavy cylindrical manufacturing. Offering a Ø600 mm swing over bed, Ø380 mm swing over the cross slide, and center distances of 1,500, 2,000, or 3,000 mm (up to 4,000 mm custom), the CK6160 is anchored by a 400 mm wide Fine-Grain HT300 cast-iron bed (3,800 kg for the 2,000 mm model) with ultrasonic-quenched HRC 52–55 guideways and a Ø50 mm Z-axis ballscrew. Its A2-11 headstock features a standard Ø105 mm through-bore (Ø130 mm optional) and a 15 kW 3-step geared drive (25–1,600 rpm), providing massive torque for heavy forging roughing and large-diameter casing threading with ±0.004 mm repeatability.
Allows large-diameter oilfield drill pipes, thick-wall hydraulic cylinders, and forged shafts to pass directly through the A2-11 spindle.
Heavy-section box-ribbed bed and oversized 50 mm longitudinal ballscrew sustain multi-millimeter roughing cuts without axial windup.
Delivers continuous high torque from 25 rpm upward for turning Ø600 mm cast-iron flywheels, marine propellers, and turbine flanges.
Generous saddle clearance and a geared rack-drive tailstock make positioning and supporting 2-ton shafts effortless.
