Production Scope & Inspection Standards
Taikan Machine manufactures nine standard CNC machine tool models across three lines: VMC vertical machining centers (VMC650, VMC850, VMC855), TCK 45° slant-bed CNC lathes (TCK50, TCK52, TCK56), and CK horizontal flat-bed CNC lathes (CK6140, CK6150, CK6160). All machines are assembled under ISO 9001:2015 procedures and checked against ISO 230-2 geometric and positioning standards. Before shipping, each unit undergoes thermal stress-relief annealing on castings, datum scraping, P4 bearing spindle assembly, laser pitch compensation, ballbar circularity verification, and a 48-hour continuous running test.
Assembly & Inspection Process.
HT300 Casting & Stress Relief
Machine beds, columns, and saddles are cast in HT300 gray iron, followed by furnace annealing and vibration aging to prevent structural distortion.
Guideway Grinding & Datum Scraping
Guideway mounting shoulders, headstock seats, and ball screw brackets are precision-ground and hand-scraped to verify mechanical squareness.
Spindle & Ball Screw Assembly
Spindle cartridges are assembled in a temperature-controlled room with P4 angular contact bearings and paired with pre-tensioned C3 ball screws.
Laser Calibration & Test Cutting
Every completed lathe and VMC undergoes full-stroke laser pitch verification, ballbar circularity testing, and sample test cutting before packing.
