The Taikan TCK52 is a versatile big-bore 45° slant-bed CNC turning center designed for job shops and OEMs that require both large-diameter bar feeding (Ø65 mm through-spindle capacity, Ø76 mm spindle bore) and heavy 8-inch or 10-inch chuck work up to Ø400 × 550 mm. Built on a 4,350 kg Fine-Grain HT300 one-piece slant bed with widened 35/45 mm preloaded roller linear guideways, the TCK52 delivers superior damping during heavy depth-of-cut roughing in 4140 alloy steel and duplex stainless steel. A 15/18.5 kW high-torque servo spindle (3,500 rpm) pairs with a 12-station servo turret (upgradable to BMT55 live tooling with C-axis) and a rigid Ø75 mm MT5 hydraulic tailstock, achieving ±0.004 mm positioning accuracy and ±0.002 mm repeatability.
Processes thick-wall seamless tubing and 65 mm bar stock directly through the rotary hydraulic cylinder without secondary sawing operations.
Delivers full constant power from 550 rpm upward, allowing 4.5 mm radial depth of cut in normalized 42CrMo4 steel without spindle stall.
Oversized Z-axis roller ways absorb axial thrust loads from large U-drills (up to Ø45 mm) and heavy longitudinal shaft turning.
Available with a 12-station BMT55 driven turret (0.001° C-axis resolution) for one-setup cross-drilling, keyway slotting, and polygon milling.
