The Taikan TCK50 is a high-speed 45° one-piece slant-bed CNC turning center built for continuous production of automotive transmission shafts, bearing races, hydraulic fittings, and precision bushings. Its one-piece Fine-Grain HT300 cast-iron bed (3,850 kg net weight) directs cutting forces straight into the machine foundation while allowing hot swarf to fall directly into the chip pan without heating the guideways. The TCK50 accommodates a maximum turning diameter of Ø360 mm and turning length of 500 mm, equipped with an 8-inch hollow hydraulic chuck (Ø52 mm through-bar capacity) and an A2-6 cartridge spindle running up to 4,000 rpm (11/15 kW). Preloaded 35 mm roller linear guideways deliver 24 m/min rapid traverse rates across both X and Z axes, paired with an 8 or 12-station servo turret (0.2 s indexing) and MT4 hydraulic tailstock to maintain ±0.004 mm positioning accuracy and ±0.002 mm repeatability.
